Sulden is in Vinschgau, in the west of South Tyrol. The Stilfserjoch National Park contains the entire Ortler-Cevedale mountain range, complete with the adjoining valleys, and reaches south into the Lombard region. The amazing nature reserve is 134,620 hectare.
The coexistance of pristine nature and traditionally farmed mountain pastures and forest areas is special to this region. The National Park is fascinating with high peaks, clear glaciers, and bubbling mountain streams. With nature all around, it is easy to forget the hectic life you've left behind.
